FINN® and his friends have developed their own Olympics using the things they have found under and around the bed. You can join in the fun with things you find in your family room, bedroom, etc.! Create "gold" medals for winners with a single serving bag of their favorite snack.

The Pillowcase Race
On your mark! Get set! Hop! Use an old pillowcase to put a new twist on a classic activity that will get things hopping!

Determine start and finish lines and mark them both clearly. Arrange the children in a row at the starting line and give each one a pillowcase to use as a sack. Once everyone has both feet inside a sack, call out "On You Mark, Get Set, Go!"

The first child to cross the finish line wins.

Indoor/Outdoor

In this version of hide-and-seek, one child hides and the other children seek.

Choose one child to be "it". He/she chooses a spot to hide while the rest of the players shield their eyes and count to 50.

When the seekers have reached 50, they spread out and look for the single hider. When they find the hider, they hide with him/her, squeezing in like sardines, until there's only one seeker left. When that person finds the group, everyone yells sardines! The last person becomes the hider for the next round.

Variation: Older kids can play in darkened rooms or at night, making it a little scarier to be walking around alone.

Indoor/Outdoor

A twist on the classic game of hide-and-seek using a Goldfish® cracker (or other small item) instead of people and can be played inside or out.

Choose one person to be the "hider" while others cover their eyes or leave the room (Set boundaries to keep the search area contained-only in the living room, only in the backyard, etc.).

The hider places the Goldfish® cracker someplace in the open, on top of a lamp, in the plant, on top of the bird feeder, etc. When they're ready they call out to the others "I Spot...Goldfish."

The other players start the search for the cracker with the goal of being the first to see the hidden item and call out "I Spot...Goldfish" and point to the item.

The hider can let people know if someone is close by saying "hot" or "cold" as the others are searching.

The player who "spots" the hidden item first, then becomes the hider and the game continues until everyone has had a chance to both hide and seek.
